In June 2017 Derek Rotondo, along with the ACLU, filed a sex discrimination charge against his employer, JPMorgan Chase, for equal access to primary caregiver parental leave. In 2019, the class action case settled, granting $5 million dollars to fathers and a revised company policy. Derek joins the podcast to share his story as we explore why paternity leave is a key battleground in women’s workplace equality.
